1:1 Drama Lessons

All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;

Simple drama games and exercises can support learning in a new and enjoyable way. Listening learning and responding to instruction helps children of all ages with their development.

Our classes develop confidence, physical awareness and communication in an educational and fun environment. Children are encouraged to express themselves creatively whilst encouraging and inspiring those who might need an additional boost in confidence. Our emphasis is on creative engagement and sparking the imagination, whilst developing theatre making and performance skills both on and off stage.

In our 1:1 classes we can work together on pieces for a performance just for fun, to help with social and development skills and we also offer LAMDA exams.

LAMDA is one of the UK’s oldest and most respected awarding bodies. We have been offering practical examinations in communication and performance subjects for over 130 years. In this time, our qualifications have helped hundreds of thousands of candidates of all ages and abilities to develop lifelong skills.

LAMDA exams are about achievement – recognising and rewarding the endeavours of each individual – but they are also about empowerment. Our ultimate aim is to provide all people with the opportunity to develop the life skills they need to be a success: attributes such as self-confidence and the ability to communicate clearly and present ideas.

At the heart of LAMDA examinations is the recognition that our qualifications are for everyone. Across the globe, our examinations unite learners of all ages, abilities, backgrounds and cultures in enthusiasm for the English language and a desire to develop skills for life.LAMDA is a world-class drama & music school and a leader in graded examinations. It sets the standard for speech, communication and drama around the world.

The syllabus consists of a series of graded examinations and allows the children to work on pieces of drama, poetry & prose.

The aim is to develop a love, appreciation and understanding of language and literature through learning and speaking aloud, and to offer a progressive education and training in communication through speech.
