Silver Singers

Songs from the good ole days

If you work in a local care home and have been looking for something unique for your residents, look no further.

People with conditions such as dementia and Alzheimer’s have been found through studies to help patients connect and express themselves through singing and movement. Researchers at an arts based doctoral training centre in the midlands TA Dem who focus on the arts and dementia, say ‘Although there is no way to slow down the progression there is growing evidence that art activities may improve the quality of life for people affected by theses conditions.’

Silver Singers is an interactive performance, including the audience in songs with costumes props and lyrics in large font for those wanting to join in for some songs. Songs from the 1940s up to modern day, are included in the performance and is roughly an hour long with breaks. We have ballads, swing songs, big band, and country, songs from the musicals and reimagined older songs adapted for Emmas voice.

Prices start from £70 per hour
